Privacy: what we collect

We collect only what's needed to run the service, nothing more.

• Email address, when you get a free API key or subscribe to a paid tier.
• Usage data: which tools you call and how many billing-period units you've used, so metering works. We don't log the content of what you're checking beyond what's needed to serve the request.
• Basic site-traffic logs for vantagemcp.dev itself: IP address, referrer, user-agent, requested path, for every visitor. Used to understand where traffic comes from, not to build a profile on any individual.
• Anonymous page analytics on this website, via PostHog. It sets a cookie so a repeat visit counts as the same visitor rather than a new one, and it records pages viewed, how far down a page you scrolled, and which links and buttons were clicked. It does not record what you type into any field, it does not record your screen, and it never builds a profile tied to you or your email. It runs on this website only, never inside the MCP server or its tools.

We do not sell your data. Ever.

Privacy: who we share it with

• Stripe: processes payments for Pro/Scale. We never see your card details.
• DataForSEO: the underlying data provider for AI-citation checks. When you call a tool, the domain or keyword you're checking is sent to them to get the answer, not your email or account info.
• PostHog: our analytics processor for this website's anonymous page analytics described above. They receive the page you viewed and what you clicked on it, never your email, your API key, or anything you check with the tools.

No advertisers, no data brokers, no third party reselling your usage.

Privacy: your rights

• Request a copy of your data at any time.
• Delete your account and API key.
• We comply with the Australian Privacy Act 1988.
• If you're in the EU, you have additional rights under GDPR.

Terms: what Vantage is

Vantage is an MCP server exposing tools that check AI-answer-engine citation visibility, called from your own coding agent. It reports what the underlying data shows at the time you ask, it doesn't guarantee any particular citation, ranking, or business outcome, and AI-engine answers can change between checks.

Terms: your API key

Keep your API key secure, it's tied to your billing tier. Don't share or resell access to it. If you suspect it's been exposed, contact us at support@vantagemcp.dev and we'll reissue one.

Terms: payments and refunds

• Pro and Scale are billed monthly via Stripe.
• Cancel any time, your access continues until the end of the billing period.
• Changed your mind within 14 days of upgrading? Contact us for a full refund, no questions asked.

Terms: acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Attempt to circumvent usage limits, or share/resell API key access.
• Use Vantage to build a directly competing resale service without permission.
• Use Vantage for any unlawful purpose.

Terms: limitation of liability

We do our best to keep Vantage running reliably, but can't guarantee uninterrupted service. Vantage is not liable for decisions made based on tool output, it reports data, it doesn't make business decisions for you.

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts, or modifies the consumer guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law.

Changes & contact

We'll notify you of any significant changes to this page by email or a notice on the site. Continuing to use Vantage after that means you accept the updated terms.
