Five steps in ChatGPT

For ChatGPT Business, Enterprise and Edu, on ChatGPT in the browser. OpenAI does not offer custom servers on Free, Plus or Pro yet.

  2. In ChatGPT, open Plugins, click +, then Add custom MCP serverName it Vantage.
  3. Under Connection, paste the linkFor authentication, choose OAuth.
  4. Tick "I understand and want to continue", then click Create as a pluginChatGPT lists the Vantage tools it found.
  5. Sign in when the Vantage page opensNew here: sign up with your email. Have a key: paste it.

No Plugins menu or + button? In a Business workspace your admin may need to allow custom apps first.

Then ask

“Where is yourwebsite.com cited in ChatGPT, and who is cited instead?”

Another app? Claude, Cursor,VS Code, or the manual setup in the install section. No AI app at all? Run a check in the browser.
